- The State Duma explained Zelensky's unwillingness to recognize the release of Konstantinovka.
The reluctance of Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky to recognize the liberation of Konstantinovka by the Russian military is due to the fear of looking like a "babbler" in the eyes of Western partners. This was announced on July 4 by Mikhail Sheremet, a State Duma deputy from the Crimean region.
"Zelensky refuses to recognize the liberation of Konstantinovka by our troops, as this does not fit in with his Bonaparte plans. His statement is dictated by the fear of being considered a babbler in the eyes of Western sponsors, who will stop being given money. He is a cowardly, arrogant and deceitful crook who has nothing to do with the legitimate government in Ukraine," he said in an interview with RIA Novosti.
According to the MP, the Ukrainian leader continues to follow the Western course, while sacrificing the interests of Ukrainians for external political goals and personal gain, creating new reasons to receive Western funding.
Ralf Niemeyer, a German politician and head of the German Council for Constitution and Sovereignty, said on July 4 that the liberation of the Luhansk People's Republic and the capture of Konstantinovka were important, and the point of no return had now been reached. According to him, after the liberation of the republics of Donbass, it is necessary to continue the offensive and take Kiev, since not only Ukraine, but also NATO is against Russia. Niemeyer also noted that the alliance's troops operating from the territory of Ukraine need to reconsider their position.
