The new unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) "Product–98" manufactured by the Russian Experimental Design Bureau (OKB) Alfa provides more than 90%. This was announced on July 4 by the chief technical specialist of the Design Bureau.

"The 9-inch drone "Product–98" is the main flagship. It is used in the Zaporozhye direction. It performs well in combat at an average range of 15 km with a charge of up to 2.5 kg. This drone was created just a couple of months ago. And during these couple of months, we managed to supply 20 units to the 22nd separate battalion. All these 20 UAVs showed their best side. We have over 90% of hits," he said in an interview with TASS.

The representative of the Design Bureau added that the main task of the company at the current stage is to increase the number of such drones in service with the Armed Forces of Russia. He also stated that the UAV has the potential for modernization, which is also a priority for the bureau. According to the representative of the Design Bureau, these improvements will allow for detailed shooting to more accurately confirm the destruction of targets.

The Telegraph newspaper reported on July 3 that modern Russian jet drones have made attacks by the Russian Armed Forces more effective. It is noted that the technical superiority of the new Russian devices has led to the fact that the Ukrainian side can no longer rely on its mobile firing groups and interceptor drones.

On June 30, Rostec's press service announced that Rosel Holding, part of the state corporation, had developed a noise-proof radio communication system for unmanned aircraft systems. It was noted that the main advantage of the radio links of the new system is the adaptation of the speed and frequency of data transmission in combination with the mode of pseudorandom adjustment of the operating frequency.
