The attack aircraft of the Vostok group of forces told about the liberation of Rovno

On July 3, the stormtroopers of the 394th Guards Motorized Rifle Regiment of the 127th Division of the 5th Combined Arms Army of the Vostok group of forces shared the details of the liberation of the village of Rovnoye in the Zaporizhia region.

"We were working in the direction of Rovno, entering enemy strongholds. The approaches were difficult, difficult, and we controlled everything there. <...> Somewhere the enemy wants to break through, we stand and hold on. They tried to break through, but we didn't let them, because there is unity, unity of allies, units," said a stormtrooper with the call sign Dawa.

According to the Ministry of Defense, during the fighting in the Rovno area, up to a platoon of manpower from the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU), four armored vehicles, seven units of automotive equipment, five ground-based robotic complexes, as well as 18 Baba-Yaga hexacopters were eliminated.

"We had one point there, so we couldn't take the house alone. You couldn't get closer than 100 m, there were machine-gun emplacements. The closest we got was 100 m, we couldn't get any closer, and their fortification was very good, everything was concreted. <...> Well, again, the command was told, and they covered it again. Well, accordingly, they were already in shock, and we managed to take their position," said the fighter with the call sign Yurik.

The Russian Defense Ministry stressed that the liberation of Rovno allowed the units of the Vostok group of forces to advance in this area, as well as increase pressure on the defense of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the Dolinka area.

The settlements of Rovnoye and Lesnoye in the Zaporizhia region, as well as Malinovka in the Donetsk People's Republic, were liberated on June 30. In addition, units of the Vostok group of forces defeated Ukrainian formations in the areas of the settlements of Velikomikhailovka, Gavrilovka, Novoukrainka, Novoye Pole, Lyubitskoye and Timoshevka. The Ukrainian Armed Forces lost over 455 soldiers, three armored fighting vehicles and 10 vehicles.
