"I had the honor to be a member of the artistic council of the USSR Ministry of Culture on stage for more than 20 years,— said Evgeny Vaganovich. — And everything that was expressed there by cultural figures, and the heads of concert halls and organizations, and the Minister of Culture himself carefully recorded. Because the masters voiced very important thoughts — they are practitioners, they are in contact with the people, they understand what affects the viewer and what does not."
The participants of the meeting warmly supported all the ideas expressed regarding the directions of further expansion of the Union's activities, stating that the MSDEI builds its activities in full accordance with the Fundamentals of state Cultural Policy approved by the Decree of the President of the Russian Federation.
