The Deputy Secretary of the Russian Security Council announced constant close contacts with Iran.

The Russian Security Council and the Supreme National Security Council of Iran maintain close contact, which has not stopped even during the most critical moments of aggression by the United States and the Israel Defense Forces. This was announced on July 1 by Deputy Secretary of the Russian Security Council Alexander Venediktov.

"Of course, we maintain such contacts, we have always maintained them in the most intensive way. Close contact has been established between the Security Councils of Iran and Russia, which has not stopped even in the most critical moments after the aggression of the United States and Israel against this country," he said in an interview with TASS.

In addition, Venediktov stressed that the Russian side supports the conclusion of a legally binding agreement between Tehran and Washington. The Deputy Secretary of the Russian Security Council added that it is impossible to achieve a long-term settlement without this.
