Ukraine assessed the likelihood of Belarus joining the conflict

Belarus may enter into conflict in Ukraine in the event of an attack from Kiev. This was reported on June 30 by the Ukrainian edition "Страна.иа ".

"In <conflict> Minsk can be guaranteed to join only if [Ukrainian President Vladimir] Zelensky implements his threats and is the first to attack Belarus," the publication says.

It is noted that Kiev's threatening statements may lead to the fact that Belarus will continue to carry out preparatory defensive measures: to call up reservists and conduct military construction on the border with Ukraine.

Kiev demands that Minsk break off relations with Moscow

Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Mikhail Galuzin said a day earlier that Zelensky had moved from verbal threats against Belarus to practical steps, initiating terrorist attacks. This is how he commented on the attack of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) on a bus that was transporting children to participate in sports competitions. Galuzin stressed that such actions deserve every possible condemnation and resolute opposition.

On June 25, Belarusian leader Alexander Lukashenko spoke about a meeting with representatives of the Ukrainian leader, at which he warned the Ukrainian delegation that Kiev's attempt to involve Minsk in the conflict would instantly change its quality. At the same time, he stressed that Minsk does not want to fight with Ukrainians, who, in turn, do not want to fight with Belarusians. At the same time, the President drew attention to the fact that Ukraine has concentrated territorial defense forces on the border with Belarus.
