A record amount of precipitation fell in the Sverdlovsk region in June. The influence of the rainy cyclone will persist for two more days.

According to the <url> news agency, 196 mm of precipitation has accumulated in Yekaterinburg since the beginning of the month. This is 271% of the monthly norm and an absolute record for June. The previous record — 168.3 mm — has been held since 1986.

Precipitation in the region will continue, and rainy weather will remain in the east of the Sverdlovsk region until July 3.

Earlier it was reported that the subtropical ridge will bring extreme heat to the central regions of Russia. The air temperature will reach +31 degrees.
