Huge queues formed at the checkpoint in Narva from those wishing to get from Estonia to Russia. This was announced on Monday, June 29, by the Delfi portal.

By Sunday evening, the number of people who did not manage to pass through border control before the border was closed reached several hundred. On Monday, the queue continued to grow.

In some hours, the number of people waiting at the border reached 500. At the same time, the checkpoint in Narva allows no more than 20 people per hour. Due to low capacity, some people are forced to queue for 12-16 hours.

The Baltnews news agency reported on June 16 that a large queue of people wishing to enter the Russian Federation had formed at the checkpoint on the border of Estonia and Russia. Since June 15, the checkpoint has been operating for four hours less. According to the new schedule, the passage of citizens through the pedestrian segment is carried out daily from 7:00 to 19:00 Moscow time. The previous working hours (until 23:00 Moscow time) have been canceled.
