The temporary restriction of power supply in Sevastopol has been lifted, and the authorities have begun restoring electricity supply. This was announced on Monday, June 29, by the governor of the city Mikhail Razvozhaev.

"At the command of the dispatcher of the Black Sea RDU (branch of JSC SO UES), a temporary power supply restriction regime has been introduced in Sevastopol. This measure is necessary. It is necessary to eliminate the overload of electrical networks outside our region in order to prevent an accident in the entire power system," the message says in the Maks messenger.

The head of the region appealed to the townspeople not to turn on all available electrical appliances at the same time. According to him, a sharp increase in the load can lead to repeated accidents and overloads in the system.

Temporary power supply restrictions were also introduced in Sevastopol on June 25. Razvozhaev also urged residents to reduce the load on the power grid as much as possible and temporarily abandon the use of powerful electrical appliances. Razvozhaev later reported that they had been removed.
