Belarus has recorded an absolute temperature record in the history of meteorological observations. This was reported on June 29 by the BelTA news agency with reference to the Ministry of Natural Resources of the Republic.

"The absolute maximum temperature in the entire history of meteorological observations in Belarus was recorded in the period 14:00-14:20 in Pinsk and amounted to plus 40.4 degrees," the publication says.
