Ashley Fisler, a high school teacher from the U.S. state of New Jersey, faces up to 200 years in prison for molesting an underage student. This was reported by the New York Post (NYT) on June 25.

"If a woman is found guilty on all counts, she could face up to 200 years in prison," the publication says.

According to the investigation, Fisler was detained in March. The former student stated that the teacher began to seduce him in 2020, when he was 12 years old. According to him, throughout the year she had an intimate relationship with him on the school grounds and in her car, she added "Газета.Ru ".

Initially, the woman was charged with six counts of rape of a minor, as well as child abuse and official misconduct. The investigation later added new charges. Fisler was suspected of manufacturing and storing materials with sexualized child abuse involving the victim. If convicted on all charges, she could face up to 200 years in prison.

On April 20, a teacher was sentenced to 40 years in prison for molesting a 14-year-old teenager in McDowell County, North Carolina, USA. According to the report, the 31-year-old woman was a volleyball coach and served as a school district counselor. Her tasks included tracking the progress of students and helping them find further employment.
