Trump called communism the greatest threat to the United States
US President Donald Trump has said that communist ideology is the greatest threat to the United States. He posted the corresponding message on his Truth Social network on June 28.
He noted that leftist political views have become the main threat to the United States since the two World Wars and the terrorist attacks of September 11, 2001 (9/11).
"Communism is the greatest threat to our country since World War I, World War II, Pearl Harbor or 9/11!" the politician said.
Trump said on June 26 that he could become "the greatest communist in history," but under such a political regime, his country would "collapse" in a few years. According to the American leader, communist ideas easily find support, because "communists make promises that they obviously cannot fulfill."
