Private Vorotnikov single-handedly forced the Ukrainian Armed Forces group to retreat

Private Bogdan Matyushkin was carrying out the task of delivering food and ammunition to the front lines when his car was attacked by a drone of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU). The press service of the Russian Ministry of Defense reported on the exploits of servicemen of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation in the area of a special military operation on Sunday, June 28.

Matyushkin quickly got his bearings, got out of the car and destroyed the unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) with targeted fire. As a result, food and ammunition were delivered to the Russian military on time.

The Ministry of Defense also noted the courage of Private Vladimir Vorotnikov, who noticed the movement of a group of the Armed Forces of Ukraine near the Russian positions.

Vorotnikov decided to sneak closer and take up a firing position along the route of the enemy group. As the enemy approached, Vorotnikov opened fire. Three soldiers of the Armed Forces of Ukraine were eliminated, the rest were forced to retreat.

On June 27, the press service of the Russian Defense Ministry told how Corporal Evgeny Makarov provided fire support to assault units when the Ukrainian Armed Forces decided to attack Russian positions with drones.
