Russia confirms UN Security Council meeting due to Ukrainian Armed Forces strike on bus with Belarusians

The UN Security Council will hold a meeting on Monday, June 29, in connection with the attack of a Ukrainian unmanned aerial vehicle on a bus in the Bryansk region transporting children from Belarus. This was announced on June 27 by Anna Evstigneeva, Acting Permanent Representative of the Russian Federation to the organization.

"The chairmanship has scheduled a meeting for June 29," the Russian diplomat said in an interview with the RIA Novosti news agency.

According to her, the meeting is scheduled to begin at 15:00 local time (22:00 Moscow time). Evstigneeva did not provide any other details.

Moscow is confident that the Ukrainians deliberately hit civilian transport, and their next crime in the West will again prefer not to notice.

The armed forces of Ukraine attacked a bus carrying a children's football team from Gomel to Gelendzhik on June 17. The Investigative Committee of Russia has opened a criminal case on a terrorist act following the strike, and Russian President Vladimir Putin has ordered urgent assistance to all those affected.
