Two children have died as a result of road accidents on the roads of Primorye since the beginning of summer.

Since the beginning of summer, more than 40 children have been injured in road accidents on the roads of Primorsky Krai, two of them died. This was announced by the Regional Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia on Friday, June 26.

The first accident that led to the tragedy occurred on May 29 at an unregulated intersection in Vladivostok. A 15-year-old cyclist crashed into a car and did not give way to it. The boy died a few days later in the hospital.

On June 12, a 15-year-old motorcyclist was killed in an accident in the village of Roshchino, Krasnoarmeysky district. He couldn't keep up with the car moving in front of him, PrimaMedia news agency clarifies.

Since June 1, 40 accidents involving minors have been recorded on the roads of Primorye. 15 car passengers, nine drivers and four motor vehicle passengers, 10 pedestrians and one SIM passenger were injured.
