The GSE announced a change in the route of the Smolensk – Simferopol train.

The Smolensk–Simferopol train route, which temporarily goes to Kerch, has been changed. This was announced on June 25 by the press service of the railway carrier Grand Service Express (GSE).

"The last flight of your train from Smolensk is scheduled for June 26 according to the old schedule, and the last train left Kerch on June 24," the carrier's Telegram channel wrote.

It is specified that after these dates the train will run from Moscow to Simferopol, but the route number will remain the same — No. 473/474. For passengers who have already purchased tickets from or to stations on the Bryansk — Simferopol section, the travel conditions will remain the same. The changes will not affect those who planned to travel through Bryansk, Orel, Kursk, Voronezh and Rostov-on-Don.

"If you have purchased a ticket from / to Smolensk, Roslavl, Zhukovka, you will have to hand over your tickets and, if desired, purchase new ones for any convenient route to Crimea — for example, from Moscow or Bryansk," the company explained.

At the same time, the GSE clarified that the cars of the Belgorod — Simferopol non-stop service will continue to run in the same volume. Changes in the schedule of the main part of the squad will not affect them.

The regional authorities have banned the booking and accommodation of schoolchildren in camps and hotels until the end of the summer.

On the same day, the head of the Republic of Crimea, Sergey Aksyonov, announced that the number of Tavria trains running to and from the republic was being reduced to seven per day. All trains will run to the Kerch-Yuzhnaya station. The remaining trains running this season will be phased out over two weeks.
