Five hospital buildings and a hotel have been built in the Skolkovo medical cluster since 2018.

Since 2018, five hospital buildings and an apartment hotel with a total area of more than 133 thousand square meters have been built on the territory of the International Medical Cluster in the Skolkovo Innovation Center. This was announced on Thursday, June 25, by Vladimir Yefimov, Deputy Mayor of Moscow for Urban Planning and Construction.

According to him, the medical cluster includes modern medical complexes equipped with advanced equipment. This year, Skolkovo also completed the construction of two buildings of the Moscow City Oncological Hospital No. 62 with a total area of over 65 thousand square meters, the Moscow City News Agency reports.

According to Alexey Alexandrov, head of the Moscow Department of Civil Engineering, the new outpatient hospital building has 410 round-the-clock beds, 90 day hospital beds and specialized departments, and the intensive care unit is equipped with 18 high-tech operating rooms, including robotic ones.

In addition, an apartment hotel with more than 160 rooms has been built next to medical facilities for patients, their relatives and medical specialists, Moscow 24 writes.
