Equipment worth 1.4 billion rubles was launched in hospitals in the Moscow region

Since the beginning of 2026, 11 units of heavy medical equipment have been launched in hospitals in the Moscow region. The total cost of the equipment exceeded 1.4 billion rubles.

According to the online publication Podmoskovye Segodnya, four magnetic resonance imaging machines, five computed tomographs, a fluorograph, and an X-ray machine have appeared in institutions. The technique will improve the quality of diagnostics and make it more accessible to residents of the Moscow region.

The purchases were carried out within the framework of the national project "Long and active life". Hospitals in Mytishchi, Kolomna, Reutov, Stupino, Chekhov, Korolev and Lyubertsy received the equipment. You can get an examination free of charge under a compulsory medical insurance policy at the direction of the attending physician.

Starting from September 1, it will be possible to undergo magnetic resonance imaging in Russia without a referral from the attending physician.
