Residents of the Murmansk region spent more than 460 million rubles on sanatoriums.

In the Murmansk region, citizens' spending on sanatorium services increased by 9%. From January to April, they amounted to 461.9 million rubles.

For the whole of 2025, 36.2 thousand Northerners had a rest in organizations with sanatorium treatment. The Bi-port news agency writes about this. 70% of the tourists are citizens aged 18 to 54 years.

Earlier it was reported that they plan to build the Pearl of Siberia mega-resort in Tyumen. 89 billion rubles are planned to be invested in the project. The resort will occupy an area of 236 hectares.
