The emergency regime, introduced after a gas explosion and a fire in an apartment building in Samara, has been upgraded to a regional one. This was announced on June 22 by the mayor of the city, Ivan Noskov.

"The emergency situation in the house has been transferred to the regional level," the mayor wrote on the Maks messenger. Noskov noted that monetary compensation is provided for the victims. Up to 100,000 rubles will be paid for the loss of basic necessities. The allowance for minor harm to health will amount to 100 thousand rubles, and in the case of moderate or serious harm, the amount will reach 500 thousand rubles.

The mayor stressed that there is currently no relevant information about the causes of the fire. According to him, due to the current regulations, the construction of a new residential building or social facility at the scene is almost impossible. "Газета.Ru ".

Noskov reported on June 14 that 24 apartments in Samara were damaged as a result of a gas explosion and subsequent fire in an apartment building. It is noted that the incident occurred in the second entrance of the house 20 on 22nd street of the Party building.

A source from Izvestia said on June 15 that according to preliminary data, two people died after a house fire in Samara. It is specified that the body of a woman was found in the building. Later, the Investigative Department (SU) of the Investigative Committee (IC) of Russia in the Samara region opened a criminal case into the fire.
