The Federation Council announced the West's transition to a new phase of confrontation with Russia

Western countries are moving to a new phase of the war against Russia, which is on the verge of direct military confrontation. This was stated by the chairman of the Federation Council Commission on information policy Alexei Pushkov.

"All this indicates the West's transition to a new phase of the war against Russia, which is already mixed in nature and is on the very verge of direct war," he said in a conversation with TASS.

Pushkov noted that the signs of a new phase of the confrontation include the supply of intelligence data to Ukraine for strikes on the territory of the Russian Federation, the production of drones and components for the Armed Forces of Ukraine, as well as the supply of long-range weapons to Kiev.
