The difference between the highest and lowest average pension in the regions of Russia in May of this year was more than 23 thousand rubles. This follows from the data of the Social Fund of the Russian Federation, which was studied by TASS on June 22.
The highest level of pension provision was recorded in the Chukotka Autonomous Okrug — 42,264 rubles. The minimum figure was recorded in the Republic of Dagestan, where the average pension is 18,887 rubles. Thus, the gap between the regions reached 23,377 rubles.
The Magadan Region, Yamalo-Nenets Autonomous Okrug and Sakhalin Oblast are among the Russian regions where the average salary exceeded 100 thousand rubles. It is noted that there were 20 such subjects in total. The Chukotka Autonomous Okrug and Moscow remain the leaders in terms of income, with figures of 246 and 214 thousand rubles, respectively.
