Air defense forces shot down a drone in the Kaluga region

In the Kaluga Region, Russian air defense systems destroyed a Ukrainian unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV). This was announced on June 21 by the governor of the region Vladislav Shapsha.

"In the morning, the air defense forces destroyed a UAV over the territory of the Zhizdrinsky municipal district," he wrote on the Maks messenger.

According to the governor, an operational group is working at the scene of the incident. Previously, no casualties or infrastructure damage were recorded.

The Ukrainian Armed Forces used the tactics of "overloading" the Russian air defense and pursued primarily media goals, experts believe.

On the same day, the air defense forces shot down 239 drones over the territory of Russia. So, drones were eliminated over Astrakhan, Belgorod, Bryansk, Kursk, Orel, Rostov regions. The UAV was also intercepted over the territories of the Krasnodar Territory, Crimea and Adygea, over the Azov and Black Seas.
