As a result of a train derailment in the Turkish metro, three people were injured. This was announced on June 19 by the NTV channel.

"Three victims were taken to the nearest hospitals after receiving first aid at the scene," the publication says.

It is specified that the gathering took place at the Bostanci station in the Istanbul metro. According to preliminary data, the incident occurred due to a malfunction of the switch.

The passengers were evacuated from the train, after which they walked through the tunnel for some time, the TV channel noted. Firefighters, paramedics and metro staff were sent to the scene to eliminate the consequences.

The Club Feroviar portal reported on June 12 that employees of the Bucharest metro reported on the widespread spread of bedbugs in several depots and warned passengers about the risk of bringing insects home after a trip. It was noted that the most critical situation was recorded at the Valya-Yalomitsa depot. This facility serves one of the newest metro lines, which was commissioned in 2020.
