On September 1, a new school with 2.1 thousand places will open in the Vnukovo district. This was announced on Wednesday, June 17, by Moscow Mayor Sergei Sobyanin in the Maks messenger.
According to him, the educational institution on Boris Pasternak Street will become part of school No. 1788. The building will provide modern facilities for studying, sports, and creativity. The school is designed according to the principle of a "school city": separate entrances, sports and play areas, as well as a playground for military training and simulator classes are provided for students of different ages, the Moscow City News Agency reports.
Sobyanin noted that in recent years, five schools and seven kindergartens have been built in Vnukovo, and six more educational facilities are under construction. kp.ru .
The mayor also recalled the development of the district's transport infrastructure. Metro and MCD stations were opened here, roads were reconstructed and an interchange on the Minsk highway was built. Currently, the construction of the Borovsky Highway stand-in and new road connections is underway, writes NSN.
In addition, new medical, sports and cultural facilities have appeared in Vnukovo. Polyclinics were opened in the district, the Pasternak Music School was renovated, public spaces were improved, and new sports grounds were created. On June 15, Sergei Sobyanin approved the architectural concept of the "school of the future" in the Tagansky district. The building will become the new architectural dominant of the quarter. The facade will be made in the form of a composition of multi-format elements with integrated windows.
