The first stream of the Cynologist School, a free educational course for children and teenagers with dogs, which started on May 19, has ended in nine districts of Moscow. According to the organizers, the classes were held not at one dog walking and training site, but at several district sites, including Veshnyaki, Strogina, Maryina, Babushkinsky and Tagansky districts.

The full course of the "Dog Training School" combines theory and practice. First, participants listen to online video lectures on a wide range of canine topics, from the history of the origin of dogs to the duties of owners. Then, students practice pet training skills on the playground under the guidance of instructors from the Russian Cynological Federation (RCF).

According to the head of the RCF Training Center, Evgeny Pudeev, the main task of the school is to "teach parents and children how to properly handle their dogs." "Feeding, maintenance, the basics of training — every element is important here, because the child must understand what he is doing with interest," he said.

Classes were held in the walking areas of the Pets in Moscow project. Since 2021, 104 such facilities have been opened in the city in 77 districts.
More than 80 people took part in the spring stream of the Cynologist School. As a result, each participant who attended all classes received a personalized certificate and a memorable gift. Enrollment for the next course will open in mid-September.
