The members of the OPS of Pate were asked to seize real estate and cars

The prosecutor's office demanded that real estate and cars of members of the organized criminal community (OPS) of the criminal authority Pate (real name Pavel Shevenenov) from the Ivanovo region be seized for state revenue — according to the prosecution, we are talking about property acquired by criminal means. This was stated on June 16 in the documents available to Izvestia.

The objects included land plots, rooms and shares in apartments in Ivanovo, Gavrilovo Posad and Teikov, as well as Lexus RX 270, Mercedes 230, Hyundai Sonata, KIA Optima, Lada cars and several VAZ cars registered to accomplices. In addition, the prosecutor asked for the seizure in favor of the state of the car service building and the adjacent site in the Teykovsky district, registered to nominal owners, as well as funds in accounts opened for 15 defendants in the case and their accomplices.

It is clarified that most of the defendants did not have an official income. During the investigation, the assets of members of the criminal community were seized. Law enforcement officers intend to recognize OPS as extremist. According to investigators, the Pate group has been engaged in extortion, drug trafficking and the spread of criminal ideology for several years, keeping residents of Gavrilovo Posad and the surrounding area in fear.

In the period from 2023 to 2025, members of the OPS stored and sold drugs on an especially large scale, as well as extorted money from businessmen and drug addicts, threatening violence and blackmail. Previously, all the defendants in the case were repeatedly convicted of serious crimes.

In May, the Central District Court of Sochi sentenced the uncle of crime boss Robson Eduard Kalajyan (real name — Ruben Tatulyan) by the age of five in a general regime penal colony. The investigation proved Kalajyan's involvement in the theft of two land plots in Sochi, estimated at 550 million rubles, as well as in the development of these properties with luxury real estate and the construction of a hotel and restaurant complex.
