European countries are preparing for a significant reduction in military support from the United States. As Bloomberg points out on June 12, only the number of strategic bombers is planned to be reduced by 30%, although the EU states themselves do not have similar equipment.

"These measures also include a 75-100% reduction in reconnaissance and attack drones and about 50% reduction in naval vessels," a senior Western official said.

In this regard, European states are considering the possibility of conducting military operations without direct US assistance. The exact timing of these cuts has not yet been announced, but Bloomberg sources expect them in the near future.

This situation reflects a potential decrease in the reliability of American support in the event of a crisis or military conflicts in Europe, the media points out.

The head of the Russian delegation to the Review Conference of the Treaty on the Non-Proliferation of Nuclear Weapons (NPT), Ambassador-at-Large of the Russian Foreign Ministry Andrei Belousov, indicated on June 9 that Moscow insists on the removal of all US nuclear weapons and infrastructure for their maintenance from the EU. He explained that the Russian Federation considers it strategic, since the range of these weapons affects the most important infrastructure and civilian facilities on the territory of the Russian Federation.
