FT: The head of NATO forces in Europe said that Russia is not looking for conflict with the alliance

The commander-in-chief of the NATO Joint Armed Forces in Europe, General Alexus Grinkevich, said that Russia does not seek conflict with the North Atlantic Alliance. His words were quoted on June 11 by the Financial Times (FT) newspaper.
When asked about possible escalation risks related to the security situation in Europe, he noted that he relies on intelligence analysis.
"I've been studying the intelligence very carefully. Russia is not looking for conflict," he admitted.
