On June 11, Russian Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova described the request of the French, German and British ambassadors to receive them for a conversation at the Russian ministry with lines from a poem by Alexander Pushkin.
She recalled that diplomats from the same countries refused to meet with Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov several years ago.
