The new Esteo MX crossover was presented in Moscow

The new Russian automobile brand Esteo presented in Moscow the MX crossover, which is based on the Exeed model and is already being produced at the AGR holding plant in St. Petersburg. The car will be offered in two trim levels, "Premium" and "Flagship", the Izvestia correspondent reports from the presentation of the new product in Moscow on June 10. Prices have not been disclosed yet.

The Esteo MX is equipped with a two-liter turbocharged 2.0 engine with a capacity of 197 hp (375 Nm), which accelerates up to 210 km/h and works in conjunction with an eight-speed automatic transmission and an all-wheel drive system. Fuel consumption is 9.2 liters per 100 km in a combined cycle. There are seven modes of operation of the driving electronics. The length of the model is 4775 mm with a wheelbase of 2800 mm, ground clearance is 200 mm.

In the basic version, the MX has 19-inch wheels and diode optics, and three screens, including the passenger one, are installed on the front panel. There is a panoramic roof, heated all seats, steering wheel and windshield washer nozzles, electric drive and ventilation in the front seats, double-layer front windows and dual-zone climate control, wireless charging for a smartphone (50 watts), electric fifth door, 14 speakers of the Boya audio system, an all-round viewing system and other options. To improve the sound insulation, the front double side windows are installed.

In the top-end configuration, the crossover additionally has a massage function and an ottoman for the front passenger seat (in the basic version, only the driver has a massage), a built-in DVR, a parking attendant and other options. The number of audio speakers has been expanded to 21, and the size of the rims has been increased by an inch.

The Esteo MX body color palette includes three shades — white, black and gray (it is planned to expand the range in bright colors in the future). The interior can be decorated in brown or black. The optics consists of 472 independent LED elements with a total line length of 3.5 m. The complex of assistance systems includes adaptive cruise control with the function of keeping the car in the selected lane and other assistants. There is a standard telematics system. The body received galvanizing of all exterior body panels, the windshield washer tank was increased to 7 liters, and an automatic rear-view camera washer was provided.

Esteo is the fourth joint project of the Russian holding AGR and the Chinese company Defetoo after Tenet, Jeland and Tenet Plus. As reported on June 2, the Tenet T8 crossover in a new, more affordable five-seat version will soon be on the assembly line at the holding's plant in Kaluga.
