Kalashnikov spoke about the use of BK-16 boats to combat the back in the Black Sea
BK-16 high-speed amphibious assault boats are used to combat unmanned enemy boats in the Black Sea. This was announced on June 10 by a representative of the Kalashnikov concern in an interview with TASS.
"BK-16s are currently used in the Black Sea to protect and defend the water area and strategically important facilities from attacks by surface unmanned enemy boats," he said.
According to the representative of the concern, the enemy backwaters are suppressed and destroyed by the firepower of the Russian boat itself.
It is indicated that the BK-16 high-speed amphibious transport boat is designed for operations in the coastal zone and amphibious landings of up to 19 people on an unequipped coast. The conning tower and landing compartment of the boat are armored, it can be equipped with four 7.62 mm machine guns in combination with either a combat module, two 12.7 mm machine guns, or a 40 mm grenade launcher.
