The Finnish politician announced signs of Europe's desperation for new anti-Russian sanctions.

The new anti-Russian sanctions, according to Finnish politician Armando Mema, indicate the growing desperation in Europe and the inability to change the situation with regard to Russia. He made such a statement on June 9.

"A new package of sanctions is being applied against Russia, and EU leaders continue to carry out what I call "insulting diplomacy." EU leaders are failing everywhere, previous sanctions didn't work, so they're wasting their time inventing new sanctions," X wrote on the social network.

According to him, the sanctions policy of European countries demonstrates the repetition of ineffective approaches and lack of results, as well as the search for new restrictive measures without changing the strategy. The politician also said that the continued pressure on Russia does not lead to success and reflects the crisis of approaches in Europe.
