Almost 300 people suffered from tick bites in Stavropol

Over the past week, 292 people have suffered from tick bites in the Stavropol Territory. Locals and tourists are asked to be careful when going out into nature.

Since the beginning of the warm season, almost 2.1 thousand people have suffered from tick bites. According to the StavropolMedia news agency, eight cases of borreliosis and five cases of Crimean hemorrhagic fever have been registered.

When in the forest or in the field, it is recommended to use protective clothing and repellent agents. It is also worth checking yourself and your pets regularly after walks.

More than 10,000 people have been affected by tick bites in the Irkutsk Region since the beginning of the season.
