A temporary scheme for the movement of Tavria trains was introduced in Crimea due to a night attack by a Ukrainian unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) on the Crimean railway. This was announced on June 8 in the Telegram channel of the Grand Service Express carrier company.

"Train traffic on the Crimean Railway has been stopped after a night attack by UAVs, trains heading from Crimea to the mainland will start moving from Kerch," the publication says.

For passengers of some trains coming from Crimea, delivery has been arranged from Simferopol-Passazhirsky, Vladislavovka and others stations to the Kerch station. In Kerch, passengers transfer to trains and continue on the usual route.

It is clarified that at the moment, ticket sales have been canceled for a number of trains that are already on their way or are scheduled to depart in the coming days. Refunds without deduction are provided for passengers whose trains, which are delayed on the way, or do not depart from the initial stations of their route.

Earlier in the day, the head of Crimea, Sergey Aksyonov, announced that a drone had attacked a passenger train from Moscow to Simferopol. The driver was injured, his assistant was killed, and the passengers were not injured. The company noted that passengers of all trains located on the peninsula were evacuated for safety reasons. As a result of the Ukrainian UAV attack on the Moscow–Simferopol train in Crimea, eight trains were stopped. It is noted that three of the detained trains were heading towards the mainland, five were heading to the peninsula.

Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov said on June 8 that the attack by the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) on a train in Crimea complicates attempts at a peaceful settlement. According to him, the Russian side remains open to negotiations, but the Kiev regime itself is doing everything to slow down the settlement process.
