A fire in an apartment building in Primorye killed one person.

As a result of a fire in a residential apartment building in the city of Lesozavodsk, Primorsky Krai, one person was killed. This was reported on June 7 in the press service of the Main Directorate (GU) of the Ministry of Emergency Situations in the region.

"During the extinguishing, firefighters found the body of a deceased person. His gender and identity are being established," the message in the Maks messenger says.

According to the agency, two people were injured due to the fire - a man born in 1986 and a woman born in 1990. It is specified that the fire service rescued seven people, including three children.

According to preliminary data from the Russian Emergencies Ministry investigators, the most likely cause of the fire was carelessness while smoking.
