Tennis player Octobreva wins junior Roland Garros

Russian tennis player Alisa Oktyabreva defeated Chinese player Sun Xinran in the final of the French Open Roland Garros junior tennis tournament.

The match ended with a score of 6:2, 6:1 in favor of 17-year-old Octobreva. For the first time, the Russian athlete played in the final of the junior Grand Slam competition, she ranks 309th in the world ranking.

Russian Mirra Andreeva will compete in the adult singles final, where she will face Polish tennis player Maya Khvalinskaya. The match will take place on June 6 and will start no earlier than 16:00 Moscow time. For Andreeva, this will be the first Grand Slam tournament final.
