A special military operation to protect the civilian population of Donbass has been conducted by Russia since February 24, 2022. The enemy lost up to 430 military personnel, four armored combat vehicles, eight vehicles and a counter-battery radar station.

The "southern" grouping of troops has improved the tactical situation. Formations of the mechanized, assault and mountain assault brigades of the Armed Forces of Ukraine were defeated in the areas of the settlements of Nikolaevka, Malinovka, Novoselovka and Slavyansk of the Donetsk People's Republic. The enemy lost up to 165 soldiers, four armored combat vehicles, 11 vehicles, three field artillery guns and an electronic warfare station.

The fighters of the Center group of forces have taken more advantageous positions and positions. The manpower and equipment of two mechanized, assault brigades of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, a marine brigade and two National Guard brigades were defeated in the areas of Rubezhnoye, Dobropolye, Rayskoye, Belozerskoye of the Donetsk People's Republic, Vasilevka and Chuguevo of the Dnipropetrovsk region. The losses of the Ukrainian armed forces amounted to over 370 military personnel, three armored combat vehicles, six vehicles and three artillery pieces.

Tactical aviation, unmanned aerial vehicles, missile forces and artillery of groups of troops of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation defeated storage sites, launch sites for long-range unmanned aerial vehicles, energy and transport infrastructure facilities of Ukraine used in the interests of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, as well as temporary locations of Ukrainian armed forces and foreign mercenaries in 142 areas. Four guided aerial bombs, two Czech-made Vampire multiple rocket launchers and 601 aircraft-type drones were shot down by air defense systems.

In total, since the beginning of the special military operation, 671 aircraft, 284 helicopters, 156,058 unmanned aerial vehicles, 661 anti-aircraft missile systems, 29,608 tanks and other armored combat vehicles, 1,729 multiple rocket launchers, 35,210 field artillery and mortars, 63,297 units of special military vehicles have been destroyed.
