Details about the long sedan Senat 1000 from the SPIEF have become known

In addition to the Senat 900 sedan, which will be produced at the ex-Toyota plant in Shushary, a prototype of the Senat 1000 sedan was shown at the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum (SPIEF). A representative of the manufacturing company told Izvestia on June 4 that such a model could enter mass production in six months or a year.

The Senat 1000 differs from the 900 model by an increased wheelbase of 20 cm. The prototype was built in order for the manufacturer to collect feedback from potential buyers of such a car and find out their wishes for equipping the sedan, the company explained.

Both models are based on the Hongqi H9, a source at the company said. The Senat 900 is equipped with a three-liter V6 turbo engine located longitudinally, which is combined with an eight-speed hydromechanical "automatic" and an all-wheel drive transmission. The engine power is 326 hp (340 Nm), acceleration from zero to "hundred" takes 6.5 seconds.
