Yandex has launched a tool for ad services that allows you to manage the presence of user content in various Search formats. The company announced the launch of the new solution on Monday, June 1.
Now site owners can separately set up page indexing for general search results and specialized thematic sections such as "Apartments" and "Services". This allows you to more accurately define ad display scenarios: for example, a real estate offer can be left in the general search results, but hidden from the thematic block.
Yandex is developing various formats for providing information in the Search, from classical and thematic search results to AI responses. At the same time, the company creates opportunities to make it easier for partners to manage their presence in Search," the company said in a press release.
It is noted that the new tool complements existing technologies for working with content, including feeds. The latter allow sites to transmit detailed information about objects and goods in real time, which ensures the correct display of data in cards and geo-responses.
According to the company, five weeks after the launch of real estate feeds, the total number of clicks on agency websites using this data transfer format increased by 35%.
Earlier in the "Search", it became possible for website owners to hide information from the quick responses of the Alice neural network, while saving it in the standard output. The company also continues to develop the YCP protocol, which helps online stores bring users to purchase faster through AI chat or search results.
