Zenit St. Petersburg basketball Club has terminated cooperation with head coach Deyan Radonich by agreement of the parties. This was announced on May 29 by Zenit's press service on its website.

The Montenegrin specialist took over Zenit during the 2025/26 season. Under his leadership, the team played 31 matches and scored 20 victories.

Together with Radonich, the blue-white-blues reached the Final Four of the WINLINE Basket Cup, took third place in the VTB United League regular season and failed to reach the finals of the tournament.

In the semi-final series of the VTB United League playoffs, Zenit lost to Kazan UNICS with a score of 3-4, while the St. Petersburg team led the opposition 3-1. Zenit will play against Krasnodar's Lokomotiv Kuban in the series for third place, Sport-Express reports.
