The United States intends to seek the trial of former Cuban leader Raul Castro, and to bring him to the country for these purposes. This was announced on May 28 by Acting U.S. Attorney General Todd Blanche.

"As for Mr. Castro, like any other person who has been charged outside of this country, the goal is to bring the accused to this country," he said on Fox News.
