- The Russian Armed Forces eliminated the armored vehicles of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the Konstantinovsky direction
The operators of the Lancet barrage ammunition of the Southern Group of Forces destroyed an enemy armored combat vehicle in the Konstantinovsky direction during a special military operation. This was reported on May 27 in the press service of the Russian Ministry of Defense.
Units of the 4th separate motorized rifle brigade of the Southern Group of forces attacked equipment of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) during reconnaissance and combat work. In the Konstantinovsky direction, together with intelligence, an armored vehicle with infantry was discovered and hit.
"Before hitting the equipment, we first need to make sure whether it is a military vehicle, we look at the numbers approximately black or white and there are electronic warfare (EW) systems or not, since the enemy disguises himself as civilians. With lancets, we hit military equipment, tanks, trucks such as Ural trucks, Kamaz trucks and, of course, operators of unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) of the enemy," said the Lancet operator with the call sign Gang.
The military personnel note that the calculations of the drones of the "Southern" group of forces conduct continuous reconnaissance of the line of contact and promptly identify targets for subsequent destruction.
On May 25, the Russian Ministry of Defense reported that in the Orekhovsky direction of the Zaporozhye region, units of the UAV of the Novorossiysk Guards Airborne Forces (Airborne Forces) as part of the Dnepr group of forces conducted a counter-battery battle. During the operation, calculations of the Buk anti-aircraft missile system (SAM) of the Armed Forces of Ukraine were identified and destroyed. The actions of the Russian military were carried out using drones to detect and destroy enemy targets.
