- Applications for participation in the seventh Moscow Fashion Week have been accepted.
The seventh Moscow Fashion Week will be held from September 26 to October 1 at the Manege Central Exhibition Hall. Applications for participation are already open, it will last until July 12 on the official website. This was announced by Deputy Mayor of Moscow Natalia Sergunina.
"The previous seasons of the project brought together about a thousand Russian and foreign designers. For example, thanks to the sixth Fashion Week, industry representatives have signed more than 70 partnership agreements, and the total volume of discussed transactions has exceeded 400 million rubles," Natalia Sergunina said.
The event will feature screenings of collections of domestic and foreign brands, lectures by leading experts, and the World Fashion Shorts short film festival. In addition, everyone will be able to purchase clothes, shoes and accessories at the fashion market.
Many designers say that participating in the project has helped them to increase the recognition of collections and increase sales. Among them is Yulia Privalova, co-founder of the Tver-based women's clothing brand.
"In just a year, thanks to the Moscow Fashion Week, we have increased all key indicators. Sales have doubled, production capacity has increased by 110%, and revenue adds 50% after each season. We opened a boutique in a department store in the capital, gained a foothold in six regions of Russia and built long—term wholesale relationships with buyers," added Yulia Privalova.
According to Oleg Levitsky, a designer from Krasnodar, one show at such a large-scale event is equivalent to about six months of regular promotion, including photo shoots, account management and marketing activity. The company recorded a 70% increase in sales, quadrupled its audience on social media, attracted new partners and signed a lucrative contract. In addition, the brand's geographical presence has expanded in Moscow, Krasnodar, Volgograd, Kursk, Voronezh, Ryazan and Vladivostok.
The event is organized by the Fashion Foundation with the support of the Moscow Government.
Since 2023, the BRICS+ Fashion Summit international forum has been held under the auspices of Moscow Fashion Week. It has already brought together hundreds of Russian and foreign designers, heads of leading companies, managers, experts from relevant associations and journalists from 109 countries. Last year, over 260 professionals from 65 countries attended the business event.
