Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic said that over the past five years Belgrade has not opened a single chapter of negotiations on joining the European Union due to its refusal to support sanctions against Russia. This became known on May 25.

"And let me remind you once again, Serbia has not opened a single chapter [of EU accession negotiations] in five years because of its foreign policy position towards the Russian Federation. And don't let them tell you fairy tales that it happened for some other reason," the politician told reporters in Beijing, TASS reports.
