The abandoned Kurganselmash plant will start producing fittings

The former abandoned workshops of the Kurganselmash plant began to be reconstructed in Kurgan. Pipeline fittings will be produced at the renovated site, said the head of the region, Vadim Shumkov.

As the governor emphasized, the project has already received support from the state.

In total, construction and modernization of five large industrial plants are planned in the regional capital. Among them is the workshop of the former expanded clay factory, writes the news agency " <url>". About 1,000 new jobs will be created at the enterprises.

According to the press service of the regional government, the Kurgan Region has been ranked 1st in the country in terms of industrial production growth for the second year in a row. At the end of last year, they amounted to 125.2%.
