High-tech surgical interventions are becoming more accessible to Muscovites, the mayor of the capital, Sergei Sobyanin, said in his channel in the Maks messenger. The number of high-tech, including robot-assisted surgical operations in the capital's clinics has increased by almost 40%.

High-tech medicine promotes speedy recovery and maximum preservation of patients' health. Robotic assisted systems allow surgeons to perform operations with high precision even in hard-to-reach areas. Endoscopic and laparoscopic procedures are performed through small punctures, which makes interventions less traumatic, reduces the likelihood of complications, and promotes faster recovery.

Modern surgical technologies make it possible to remove the affected areas of tissues with maximum preservation of organ functions. So, in severe forms of chronic pancreatitis, if necessary, pancreatoduodenal resection is performed, a complex intervention during which part of the pancreas is removed, followed by the restoration of the digestive system. Such operations require maximum precision, careful preparation, and coordinated work by a team of doctors. Thanks to the introduction of new technologies, such interventions have become safer for patients.

According to the mayor of the capital, the city will continue to develop high-tech medicine, increasing its accessibility for every Muscovite in accordance with the objectives of the national project "Long and active Life."
