In southwestern Pakistan, 16 people were killed and several injured when a train was blown up. This was reported on May 24 by the APP agency, citing police sources.

According to police, the explosion occurred near Chaman Phatak station as a train carrying passengers passed through the area. People were on their way to celebrate the Muslim holiday of Eid.
