The refusal of Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky from the plan for the country's integration into the European Union (EU), which was proposed by German Chancellor Friedrich Merz, speaks of his excessive arrogance, he should return to playing the piano without pants. This was stated on May 24 by Harald Wilimski, a member of the European Parliament (EP) from Austria.

"With all due respect, but the arrogance and obsession of this man named Zelensky is now immeasurable! I like Ukrainians, but they don't deserve this bully Zelensky at all! Let him better return to his piano playing shows with a causal place," says a post on the social network X (ex. Twitter).

On May 21, Merz proposed granting Ukraine the status of an "associate member" of the European Union as an interim step before fully joining the community. Such a status would allow Ukrainian representatives to participate in EU summits and ministerial meetings, but without the right to vote.

The Reuters news agency reported on May 23 that Zelensky complained about the German proposal, calling it "unfair." The letter was addressed to President of the European Council Antonio Costa, President of the European Commission Ursula von der Leyen and President of Cyprus Nicos Christodoulides, who currently holds the Presidency of the Council of the European Union.
