Tulsi Gabbard, the Director of National Intelligence of the United States, intends to release the results of several high-profile investigations before leaving office. This was reported on May 23 by the Daily Wire.

"Gabbard plans to release the results of a number of high—profile investigations before he leaves his post as head of the intelligence agency," the publication says.

According to the publication, these include investigations related to the COVID-19 pandemic, the so-called Havana syndrome, as well as Russia's alleged interference in the 2016 and 2020 US presidential elections.

It is noted that Gabbard oversaw the publication of more than 500,000 previously classified government documents. Among them are materials related to the assassination of former US President John F. Kennedy, his brother Robert Kennedy and Nobel Peace Prize winner Martin Luther King.

On the same day, Fox News reported that Gabbard was resigning to support her husband in his fight against a rare form of bone cancer. According to him, the director notified US President Donald Trump of her decision during a meeting in the Oval Office. It is expected that her last working day on the post will be on June 30.
